A good showing for our club on 5th May, with 20 cars on display. The space allocated to our club was generous well suited. Sometimes a chill breeze blew, but it stayed dry, allowing many members to sit out with their picnics and glass of wine as is customary at these events. The public were there in good numbers to make this a very pleasant trip to the seaside. The JEC were also represented by two of their areas and along with cars in the general display area I am sure that Jaguars were the predominant make on display, with about 50 cars in total. Next up would have been the large variety of American machines mostly from the 50s and 60s – always impressive. A ten minute walk along to the pier was rewarded with a collection of craft stalls and several useful? items were purchased. An event definitely worth considering for the 2020 calendar.
